Summary:
Associates are responsible for ensuring our customers have a positive shopping and tasting experience, by providing excellent customer service.
The primary function of this position is to promote the sale of olive oils and giftware.
No experience in the olive oil industry is needed.
We are happy to train you! Wage:
$17.
00 - $18.
00 per hour.
Eligible for Tips, Commission, and bonuses.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Promote and sell olive oil, food products and merchandise by assisting and educating customers in tasting olive oil and making purchasing decisions.
Conduct guided tours of our mill and be able to explain the harvest process.
Promote membership in the Pasolivo Press Club as applicable.
Fulfill customer orders and operate POS system.
Greet all customers promptly and graciously and provide consistent and courteous customer service.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness of the tasting bars and ensure that gift merchandise is displayed ready for customers.
Assist with production and daily shipping needs, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Excellent customer service skills Sales confidence Passion for cooking Previous retail and/or customer service experience a plus Ability to stand on your feet for several hours.
Ability to multi -task and work in a fast- paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Can safely lift 30 lbs.
