Summary:
The Brewery Executive Assistant (EA) will function as an administrator for the several brewery sub-departments including communications between the innovation brewery, marketing, and production teams to keep project lists and deadlines updated.
This role works with the Brewmaster and Firestone Walker's (FW) production teams to manage scheduling, communication with brewer organizations (HQG, MBAA, ASBC, and Brewers Association are examples) coordinating competitions, setting travel arrangements, and managing these related budgets.
This position will work to maintain communication between the production teams as well as between the DUSA family breweries.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND

Essential Functions:
Manage Brewmaster's calendar, including DUSA travel and FW site visits Assist Brewmaster and production team with scheduling needs and meeting support Act as project manager for the FW specialty beer program and assist with Brewmaster's Collective (club) membership administration and events Maintain clear lines of communication with Specialty Brand Manager & Retail team on beer releases, allocations, inventory objectives, and location programming Coordinate competition communication, entries, packing, and delivery Plan and oversee communication of collaboration activities between breweries Facilitate brewer specific events including beer shipments and compliance Support the Invitational Brewers communication and hospitality Schedule production VIP tours, dinners, shadow experiences, and lodging Collaborate with Culturvation coordinator to fulfill Production related Culturvation events Maintain working knowledge of the FW brand and product as well as FW's culture and full portfolio Enforce all ABC and beer compliance regulations Lead all Production specific events such as MBAA, ASBC, Brewer Association and other industry related events like (GABF) hop selection and other related travel Ensure that all brewer specific event participation is properly executed by way of logistical set up, staffing, beer choices and equipment in alignment with brand focus Create special events and Production's calendar of events to communicate with respective departments Develop annual budget for outlined events, including the tracking of staff costs as part of budget Report monthly on budget forecast vs.
actual spend Attend local conferences, tradeshows, and networking events to build craft brewer relationships (ex:
CCCB locally) Other duties as assigned REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field 4 years of experience in similar job duties including event planning, office management, hospitality is a plus Beer knowledge is a plus Ability to travel to events is required Valid Driver's License Proficient in Microsoft Office Basic mathematical skills Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to appeal to consumers and convince them why they should buy our product WHAT FIRESTONE WALKER OFFERS:
