We have been serving Individuals with Developmental Disabilities in San Luis Obispo County and Monterey County since 1980.
In 2003, we partnered with Achievement House, and while both agencies have their own identities, both have a single focus - promoting independence and inclusion for adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities through vocational training, education and adaptive living skills programs, advocacy, and community living services.
Now offering a $250 Sign on Bonus! At NCI Affiliates, our Community Integrated Employment Case Coordinator oversees the support and training of Direct Support Professionals that work closely with our Individuals.
This entails reviewing case management provided for every Individual Served; and working with direct support staff to assist Individuals in their business.
This position has supervisory duties.
Essential Duties Include:
Maintain a courteous, positive, enthusiastic, well-mannered, and professional demeanor while working with Individuals served and the community.
Provide individuals with continuous instructions for work specific to vocational growth and training objectives that guarantee and correspond with abilities and development.
Provide data collection of Individual's classroom skills, productivity, and behavior in client log notes for individual client meetings.
Establish lesson plans focused on common core subjects as well as arts, cooking and home economics.
Understand and submit all paperwork as required by deadline including transportation paperwork, attendance, job coach notes, objective sheets, incident/accident reports, time studies and case management documentation.
Education /
Experience:
A high school education or equivalent is required.
Previous experience working with developmentally disabled adults preferred.
Qualifying Specifications:
Must have own vehicle.
Must maintain a current California driver's license.
Must provide on-going proof of current state required auto insurance.
Must have an acceptable driving record as determined by criteria established by the agency's insurance carrier.
Must clear fingerprints through the California Department of Justice and the FBI.
Must successfully complete First Aid / CPR training (Training is offered onsite) Must keep State Food Service Registration up to date.
Physical Requirements:
Essential functions of this position require that employees regularly sit, stand, bend, twist and walk.
Employees may occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Skills:
Necessary for this position are compassion, patience, good communication, resourcefulness, and the ability to make sound decisions.
Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize workload.
Strong English oral and written communication skills are required.
Reading, writing, basic math skills, attention to detail for extended periods of time, repetition, problem solving, and the ability to motivate others.
Supervisory experience preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
